Good God. Let's get in the wayback machine and go to a place I like to call "about a month ago." In a post detailing mgoblog's Internet pet peeves we find this sentence as example of excessive use of the word "stud":
"I hope that stud Dan Connor rams into him again and again, that stud. What a stud."That was a joke. This is an actual college coach quoted on Pitt commit Dorin Dickerson in Bruce Feldman's blog($) today:
"Dickerson could be special," says one rival college coach. "We thought he's such a stud athlete that he could make it as a tailback, a wide out, as a safety and outside backer. He might even be able to play some corner. He's a stud."
